Merry Christmas 2013!

For the 2nd year in a row we had Christmas in our home.  Honestly, it is mixed emotions for me  - I look forward to creating our own holiday traditions but I am such a sentimental person that I have a hard time being away from home for the holidays.

Thankfully, our families came to us!

The weekend before Christmas my parents and brothers (poor Steph had to work) drove down for the day.  We feasted on Babe's for lunch and then opened up presents.

Our living room was completely overtaken!

For whatever reason I was pretty terrible with the picture taking.  But, needless to say we were completely spoiled.  Our favorite gifts were the Ninja blender, new cookbooks, Yetti ice chest, chip/dip set, and olloclip.

Beckett received so many toys it was just crazy.  But, without a doubt, his favorite is his "monster truck."

Surprise!

He LOVES it.  Like really, really loves it.  And he's getting better and better at driving it.

Here he is a few days later giving AJ a ride.

Two days before Christmas Guy's family drove down.  It was special because we were able to celebrate with Grandma Shirley, Alex, and Jess as well.  We had a nice dinner of Prime Rib, Green Beans, and Mashed Potatoes  - all deliciously made by Chef Guy.

B preferred the desserts made by Gigi. :)

On Christmas Eve we made cookies for Santa.  The video just cracks me up.  I have NO idea why he kept putting the flour on his hair, but he did it so nonchalantly that is just made it funnier.  Silly boy.

We were so glad to have Grandma Shirley, Uncle Alex, and Aunt Jess with us this year.  Beckett had so much fun with all of his family.

And, finally, Christmas Day.  I made a little movie of our morning.  Sweet memories :).
