The beautiful winter weather also effected Oklahoma, so Gary and Guyla's visit was delayed a few days. It actually ended up working perfectly because they were able to stay longer than previously planned.
Beckett was eating up the extra attention.
We exchanged Christmas gifts. Highlights include a nice meat selection (yuck) for Gary, new dishes for me, a super soft pullover for Guy, and a Little People airplane for Beckett.
Opening presents is hard work!
That evening we did our own little Christmas dinner. There is nothing wrong with apple cider cars, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and rolls! We even topped it off with a pecan pie made with the yummy pecans from our yard.
After dinner we had fun playing in B's new tent. He thinks it's hilarious for adults to get inside. I love having memories of just playing around and acting like you are a kid again. He just makes me so happy! :)
Guy and I did our best to convince Gigi and Thunder that they should stay a little longer, but they had to head north to Memphis for New Year's Eve. It was a fun little weekend of family time!
