We had a great weekend. It was one of those weekends that were just full of some of our favorite people, and we got to have a good mix of relaxation and fun.
On Thursday Cori came in to town. We had a much needed girls night out. It's funny - you get a babysitter and are all excited to have a night out away from the baby, but all you want to talk about is babies and birthing! Ha!
Cori was a good sport and let me practice my photog skills. She's ridiculously photogenic. Could she get any prettier?
Saturday morning we all bundled up and braved the cold weather for the Flower Mound Christmas parade. B-Man was festive in his bear suit, which kept him all snuggly and warm.
I LOVE me a parade. And Flo Mo did not disappoint.... it lasted a couple of hours! Our little town apparently supports the Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts of America quite well.
Beckett was especially happy to see Hadley. Ahh, young love.
On Sunday Guyla came through town for a quick little visit. She had gone to Ft. Worth for an overnight trip to see her favorite museums.
She got to feed Beckett his first sweet potatoes. They were a hit!
Sunday was eventful for our friends, The Stoners, too.... but most definitely NOT in a good way. Their poor little girl had to go the Emergency Room :(. She had an intestinal issue which required surgery. Poor baby. BUT after an over night stay she was released and back home on the mend. Word on the street is that she is even downing some chocolate cake. :)
