Dear Beckett: 13 Weeks

Dear Beckett,

Each week we are learning more and more about you.  AND, you are learning more and more about the world around you.  It's so much fun to watch you discover something new!

For example, this week I put funny little animal socks on your feet.  You just stared and stared like you just couldn't believe what you were seeing!  Since then you are more and more interested in your toes.

Your head and neck control has improved SO much this week.  All of a sudden you started leaning your head forward, like you were trying to suck on your shirt or see your toes.  It's so funny!

On Monday Gigi came to help take care of you.  Mommy had her wisdom tooth pulled, so it was nice to have an extra pair of hands.

Saturday was a big day.  We went to the Highland Village Hot Air Balloon Festival.  You watched the balloons take off and had a good time being outside.  That night we went out to dinner.  For the first time you fussed and CRIED - usually you sleep!

Here is a list of your current favorite things:

sucking on fingers

playing and talking to your "friends" on your play mat

eating (preferably every 2 hours)

wubba nubs paci

staring at ceiling fans

watching T.V. (although we are constantly positioning you so that you can't)

fresh diapers

being sung to

listening to music

watching the mobile above your crib
