Happy Easter!

We had a nice Easter - low key, but lots of fun with Beckett too.  I have always LOVED all holidays - the family fun, decorations, traditions, etc.  But it's all especially fun now that we have a child.  Even though he doesn't "get it," we try to make it special for him too.

Soooo, of course the Easter Bunny made a pit stop at our house.  As soon as Beckett woke up he saw his basket. And made a b-line right for it!

Four fun books, two bath toys, bunny ears, mum-mums, and several plastic eggs.

He went right for the eggs, shaking them all around.  I'm pretty positive he remembered that they would have puffs in them like they did at last weekend's hunt.

Ignore my makeup-less, pajama clad self.  I didn't even have time to brush my hair.  Yikes.

Beckett LOVES his new books.  The Elmo book has a puppet inside so that you can clap his hands.  B thought that was hilarious!

I think I read the Dragon book to him a dozen times already.  He has the Christmas version and loves to flip to the page that makes the sound effects.  So I knew he would love this one too.

Later we all got dressed up and headed downtown for brunch.  We ate at a restaurant called "Craft" that is located inside the W hotel.  Guy loves any excuse for a fancy meal!

We were actually pretty nervous about it because Beckett had only slept 15 minutes and our reservation was a 1:00.  He has had a really hard time with napping lately.  Not sure what it up with that!

But, he was a trooper!

Our parenting methods involve feeding our son with massive amounts of food anytime there is worry about him fussing.

He doesn't complain.  The boy loves him some food!  He chowed down on some scrambled eggs.

$7.00 eggs, mind you.  ha!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
