Dear Beckett: 19 Weeks

Dear Beckett,

You have been quite the trooper this week.  We have carted you around all over town, and you have been smiles the whole time.

On Monday we went to Dr. Harpavat for your four month check up and immunizations.  Here are your stats:

Weight: 15.4 lbs (55%) We were a little surprised because we thought you were heavier than this!
Height: 25 inches (50%)
Head: 41.8 centimeters (45%)

On Wednesday I took you ROLLER SKATING!  Yep, you hung out in the Bob stroller and got pushed while mom skated with the Stoner girls.  You looked around a lot at first, but quickly fell asleep (of course).  Even Dad had to stop by to see us in action.

We did A LOT of playing this week.  It's been so fun to watch you interact more with toys and books.  You love to touch anything in front of you and want to immediately put it in your mouth.  You especially love the soft cloth style books right now.

You are very intrigued by the dogs.  Since you were born they have been very protective of you, usually staying out of the way to stand guard but occasionally you both get curious :).

This week you have found your VOICE!  It's so funny to hear you "talk" to us.  Of course you have been cooing and making play noises for awhile now, but this is different.   It's more of a yell, but we just love to hear it.   Here is a video that I just adore.  You are having a talk with me and even waited your turn to speak.  Ha!

In addition to all of this, you also went out to sushi dinner, Sunday brunch, two play dates, Halloween pictures, one or two walks a day, and a whole bunch of errands with Mom.

So with all of this running around, it's no wonder this is what your Saturday looked like:

7:30 am Woke Up (smiling, of course)
Diaper change, Breakfast, Played With Dad
8:30-11:45 Nap
Diaper Change, Lunch, Played With Mom, More lunch
1:30-5:00 Nap with Dad
5:00 Dinner and Bath
6:00 Snack
7:00 Bed (on the floor)

Basically you took some serious naps, and weren't even interested in waking up to eat.  This is NOT your normal schedule.  You are a good napper, but usually have one long nap and two short naps a day.  Just recently you have gone down to eating six times a day.  You always eat at 7:30 am, 5:30 pm, and 7:30 pm, but your afternoon feedings just depend on how long you nap.

We love you.

Love,
Mom
